OpenAI is interested in Kazakhstan's achievements in the field of AI

A substantive meeting took place in Astana between representatives of Kazakhstan and Rod Solaimani, OpenAI’s Head of Partnerships and Policy for the Middle East region.

Initially planned as a strategic dialogue, the discussion evolved into a practical session, during which both sides tested the functionality of eGov AI assistants in real time. Rod Solaimani expressed sincere admiration for Kazakhstan’s achievements in the field of artificial intelligence.

In the global race for AI leadership, it is important not only to have resources but also to act quickly, systematically, and be ready to invest in development. According to the representatives, Kazakhstan is already taking concrete steps in this direction.

Among the discussed initiatives:

— Integration of KazLLM solutions into OpenAI products to improve the user experience for citizens
— Expansion of AI solutions in the public sector through eGov AI and Qazaq Law based on the ChatGPT platform
— Launch of joint educational programs to train AI specialists.

A handbook featuring the most prominent AI cases from Kazakhstan is currently being prepared. This document will serve as a useful tool for partners and the professional community.

The OpenAI delegation is scheduled to attend key events of the year, including the C5+1 Tech Conference, the Astana International Forum, and Digital Bridge 2025.
