OpenAI enters the recruitment market and challenges LinkedIn

OpenAI officially announced the development of its own AI-powered recruitment and staffing platform — OpenAI Jobs Platform — designed to automatically match employers' needs with candidates' skills. The platform will focus not only on large corporations but also on small businesses and government agencies seeking IT talent.
The platform aims to directly compete with Microsoft-owned LinkedIn, while OpenAI plans to introduce a certification program through OpenAI Academy, allowing users to validate their AI skill levels. The launch is expected in the second half of 2026.
