OpenAI is integrating Apple Music into ChatGPT to create playlists.

OpenAI has announced the upcoming integration of the Apple Music service into its ChatGPT product, enabling users to create playlists and receive music recommendations through artificial intelligence.
Previously, the platform already supported third-party services such as Spotify, Booking.com, Canva, Coursera, Figma, Expedia, and Zillow — now the list is expanding to include Apple Music, as well as other major applications.
Users will now be able to give natural text commands in ChatGPT, such as asking to create a playlist for a party, a collection of favorite tracks, or a selection on a specific theme. The model will automatically recognize the mention of Apple Music and use the corresponding service to compile the playlist.
The appearance of Apple Music in ChatGPT may also indicate that the SDK for applications is moving out of the preview phase, and OpenAI is actively expanding the ecosystem of third-party services. Users will need an active Apple Music subscription to take advantage of all integration features.
The Apple Music integration will become an important part of OpenAI's strategy to transform ChatGPT from a simple chatbot into a platform with a wide range of built-in services, where voice and text queries can automatically connect third-party applications to perform tasks — from music to bookings and travel planning.
