The top 10 startups of the Astana Smart City program have been announced

The Digitalization and Public Services Department of Astana, together with Astana Hub and Astana Innovations, has completed the implementation of the Astana Smart City Accelerator program, aimed at introducing advanced technologies into key areas of urban infrastructure. On November 20, the final stage of the program, Demo Day, took place.

The selected startups have already been successfully launched in public clinics, schools, public transport, as well as in city services and infrastructure facilities of Astana. They optimize the work of medical organizations, reduce the workload on doctors, enhance safety in educational and social institutions, save resources, and improve urban services.

Startups presented at Demo Day:

Protector AI — an artificial intelligence-based system for video analysis capable of detecting strikes, falls, and pushes.

AdsIQ — an AI-based system for managing content and advertising on screens in public transport.

SPLASH — an innovative eco-friendly mobile car wash that allows washing cars anywhere in the city without harming the environment.

HOOOD — a platform for managing digital outdoor advertising, providing advertisers, especially small and medium-sized businesses, with access to a flexible and easy-to-use tool for launching and adapting advertising campaigns in real time.

Autism Spectrum — an application developed for the audience of Kazakhstan, designed for children with autism and their parents.

Rationeel — a hybrid system combining a cloud solution and a mobile application, specializing in the digitalization of business processes and data collection optimization.

i-ConS — a mobile application with a web interface that simplifies the management of construction and repair works, budget control of projects, and material tracking.

Green Cars focuses on developing infrastructure for electric vehicles in Kazakhstan, providing an IT platform and a network of charging stations.

Hi Doctor — an expert clinical decision support system acting as a clinical assistant for doctors.

qMed — a platform for managing chronic non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and chronic heart failure.

The Astana Smart City Accelerator program has not only proven the effectiveness of introducing advanced technologies into the urban environment but also laid the foundation for further development of Astana as a center for digital technologies.
