Servercore, an international IT infrastructure provider, announced the implementation of a joint project with HWG Sababa, a B2B cybersecurity solutions provider. Servercore helped the partner migrate its IT infrastructure from a foreign provider and deploy it in a data center located in Uzbekistan within seven days.
HWG Sababa has been operating in the B2B security solutions market since 2008. The company's business began with the development of SOC services in Italy, followed by a strategic shift toward gradually expanding its product portfolio and geographic presence. Recognizing the economic potential and diverse opportunities for business development in the region, HWG Sababa selected Uzbekistan as its main hub in Central Asia.
Since 2022, the company has been fully present in the Uzbek market with a representative office in Tashkent, implementing projects that take into account the regional threat landscape, regulatory requirements, and available technologies. For the stable operation of the company's SaaS services, as well as the storage and processing of the data they generate, a reliable IT infrastructure is required.
Before entering the Central Asian market, HWG Sababa's main services were hosted with a foreign provider that had no local presence in the region. However, Uzbekistan's legislation on the storage and processing of personal data requires businesses to store data within the country.
During the migration of its IT infrastructure from a foreign vendor's cloud platform to a provider with a presence in Uzbekistan, HWG Sababa required the IT service provider to offer powerful cloud services with an easy-to-use resource management system and to comply with local legislation regarding the storage and processing of personal data. Additionally, the company considered exclusively a pay-as-you-go billing model, where charges are applied only for consumed cloud resources.
To address the partner's needs, Servercore provided HWG Sababa with a pool of virtual machines of arbitrary configurations under a Pay-as-you-go billing model. The company also had the opportunity to pre-test the capabilities of the provider's cloud platform. Following the testing results, a decision was made to continue the partnership.
