Nvidia has become the most expensive company in the world

Nvidia has become the most valuable company in the world, surpassing the tech giant Microsoft. Nvidia's high-performance processors play a key role in the fight for dominance in artificial intelligence technology, which has contributed to the growth of its stock.

The chipmaker's shares rose by 3.5% to $135.58, increasing the company's market capitalization to $3.335 trillion. This happened just a few days after Nvidia surpassed Apple to become the second most valuable company in the world.

Microsoft's market value stood at $3.317 trillion, with the company's shares falling by 0.45%. Apple's shares also fell by more than 1%, reducing its market value to $3.286 trillion.

Nvidia has also become the most actively traded company on Wall Street. Its daily turnover has recently averaged $50 billion, compared to around $10 billion for Apple, Microsoft, and Tesla. Nvidia currently accounts for about 16% of all trades in S&P 500 companies.
