Xiaomi is preparing new models of the Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra for the Chinese market with improved fingerprint scanners that will be more accurate and secure. Prototypes are already in the testing phase, and the Xiaomi 15 lineup is expected to be unveiled in October. A new leak from insider Digital Chat Station indicates the use of Goodix's ultrasonic single-point fingerprint scanner technology in these models, replacing the optical technology used in the Xiaomi 14. Ultrasonic fingerprint recognition offers high accuracy and security, as well as resistance to water and smudges.
