Applications are now open for the HiCool Global Entrepreneurship Competition startup contest

The competition is organized by the Beijing Association of Overseas Talents as part of the HiCool program, with the support of the Chinese government. The main goal is to attract high-quality startups from other countries to the Chinese market. Startups, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as university students, can participate.
The prize fund includes 200 prize-winning places. Winners will receive financial support and privileges from the Chinese government. The first place comes with a prize of $275,000, the second place — $137,000, and the third place — $68,000.

The competition program includes 12 directions:

— biotechnology and healthcare
— blockchain and FinTech innovations
— high-end tools
— artificial intelligence and robotics
— culture and creative industries
— medical equipment
— microchips and quantum developments
— new materials, green energy, and environmental protection
— software and IT
— 5G and 6G communication, smart cities
— agriculture and FoodTech
— smart cars and other technologies.

The application period is open until March 31, 2025.
