May 12–13 from 09:00 to 18:00, KGTU named after Razakov will host a Datathon on morphological analysis of Kyrgyz words. A team of three to five people must create a classification model in Python, using a notebook and Gmail. The total prize fund is $1000: first place — $500, second — $300, third — $200.
The word Datathon comes from two words: data and marathon. It is the same as a hackathon, but the task for teams is working with data.
You can participate with a team, and if you don't have one, you can form a team at the Datathon itself. A team must have a minimum of three and a maximum of five people.
Your task is to create a model that will break down Kyrgyz words into morphemes, for example, аталар —> ата — ROOT, лар — AFFIX. In linguistics, this task is called morphological analysis of a word. In AI — it is a classification task.
To create the model, you will need minimal programming knowledge, your personal laptop, and a Gmail account.
When: May 12 - 13 from 09:00 to 18:00
