The eGov.kz portal has launched the "Vehicle History" service for checking vehicle information before purchase. To obtain data, including the make, year of manufacture, number of owners, and any encumbrances, you need to enter the license plate number and the vehicle registration certificate number. The project was implemented jointly by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee of State Services, and JSC "National Information Technologies."
Kazakhstani residents now have the opportunity to verify all information about a vehicle's ownership history using the "Vehicle History" service on the eGov.kz portal. The service helps users check a vehicle's history before purchasing it.
The implementation of the service will allow users to access additional information about a potential purchase and protect them from a number of problems in case of discrepancies. To check, you need to obtain the vehicle's license plate number and technical passport number from the potential seller.
The "Vehicle History" service provides the following information:
— vehicle make and year of manufacture
— engine displacement, body color, and presence of additional installed equipment
— date of initial registration of the vehicle within the Republic of Kazakhstan
— total number of previous owners with dates
— re-registration of the vehicle without specifying personal data about owners
— presence of a pledge or encumbrance on the vehicle.
To obtain information about a vehicle, the user needs to:
— log in to the eGov.kz portal and navigate to the "Vehicle History" service
— enter the "Vehicle License Plate Number" and "Vehicle Registration Certificate Number"
— review the vehicle information.
The service was launched through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee of State Services under the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and JSC "National Information Technologies."
