During a meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan and professors from Japan's Kyushu Institute of Technology, the implementation and procedures for rolling out the project were discussed in detail.
Uzbekistan is productively cooperating with the largest countries in the global space market, authoritative agencies, and leading universities in the field of space research, implementation of modern technologies, and training of qualified personnel for the industry.
In particular, the "Uzbekcosmos" agency is implementing joint educational projects and programs with the United States, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, China, Japan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan to further develop space education in the country and enhance the knowledge and experience of young people in such fields as engineering, astronautics, and astronomy.
The agreement signed with Kyushu Institute of Technology, one of Japan's leading universities, also offers the opportunity to train seven young design engineers in the design, assembly, and testing of spacecraft over a two-year master's program. During this period, they plan to jointly create and launch Uzbekistan's first 6U cubesat into orbit with experienced Japanese professors.
