The eGov Mobile app has received its largest update

The eGov Mobile app has undergone a major update: the interface has been redesigned, navigation has been improved, and intelligent search and quick access to digital documents have been added. Over the past five years, the number of service users has grown sixfold, exceeding 11 million.
One of the key innovations is intelligent search, which displays all relevant results—from specific services to life scenarios. Next to it, a virtual assistant called eGov AI based on artificial intelligence has appeared. The assistant is built into the app, operates in a chat format, provides simple step-by-step instructions, and, if necessary, directs users directly to the relevant section or service.
The home page now includes icons for the most popular services, direct access to the service catalog, and banners with information about new features. For easier navigation, services are divided by e-government directions and the E-Licensing portal. The full list of services is available in a separate section of the bottom menu. Here, you can pin the functions you need—each has a button icon next to it—and view brief descriptions of key features.
The "Digital Documents" section has been significantly updated. ID cards, passports, birth certificates, and other documents are now displayed directly on the home page, allowing you to instantly present them or show a QR code for authenticity verification.
A "Life Scenarios" catalog has been added with step-by-step instructions for popular requests—for example, how to register with a polyclinic, restore documents, or obtain a driver's license. Each scenario is accompanied by an interactive survey that generates a personalized workflow.
The app also now offers improved dark mode functionality, grouped notifications by topic, access to personal data, family information, health records, employment details, fines, and property information. A history of provided consents has been implemented, and navigation to relevant sections has become faster and more logical.
The update has enhanced the level of personal data protection and the system's resilience to external threats. The development was the result of joint efforts by the Committee of Public Services of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC "National Information Technologies."
