The Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan has summarized the year's results.

Today, there are about 16,000 companies operating in Kazakhstan's IT sector, with the number of people working in this field reaching 182,000. In the first half of this year, the export of IT services reached $247 million. This year, the goal is to achieve an export level of $500 million.

Twenty-seven projects participated in the program implemented in collaboration with Draper University. One of the participating companies, Ciix, attracted $1 million in investments from Tim Draper. Twenty-four projects took part in the program organized with Google for Startups. As a result of this program, the companies attracted $4.2 million, the total budget amounted to $87.6 million, and monthly revenue reached $535,000.

Additionally, the Tech Orda program is being implemented, which aims to train IT specialists. This year, 83 IT schools participated, and 3,183 students are being trained.

Digital services are in high demand among people. Five percent of powers of attorney have been converted to digital format. Fifty-five percent of car registrations are conducted online, and 67% of mortgage loans are processed online in banks. The "Electronic Government" system has learned to congratulate each citizen on their birthday or notify them in advance that the validity period of their documents has expired.
