Kyrgyzstan has launched a state cloud platform: more than 100 TB of data has been transferred

The project to create the state cloud platform G-Cloud has been completed, with information systems of government bodies and local self-government of the Kyrgyz Republic migrated to it. The work was carried out by AMT-GROUP on behalf of the Ministry of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic, with support from the World Bank and KOICA. The platform became the first initiative of its kind in the country.

As part of the project, more than 80 virtual machines and physical servers were migrated to the cloud, with the total volume of data exceeding 100 TB. The migration was conducted without interrupting the operation of key services. A total of 134 information systems actively used by government agencies were selected for migration. The first 16 systems were transferred to G-Cloud with minimal downtime—less than five minutes.

G-Cloud will become the foundation of the country's digital ecosystem, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable hosting of government resources and interdepartmental data exchange. The platform will also enhance the resilience of government services against failures and external threats.

During the implementation of the project, special attention was paid to maintaining the stable operation of all services. It is noted that the AMT-GROUP team demonstrated high professionalism and the ability to effectively respond to emerging tasks. The successful completion of the project was the result of coordinated teamwork and significant experience of the participants.
