The startup competition will take place in Uzbekistan

As part of the fourth World Conference on Creative Economy, the Creative Startup Competition will take place, organized by the Fund for the Development of Art and Culture, the Agency for Youth Affairs, and IT Park Uzbekistan. The competition aims to showcase Uzbekistan's growing startup ecosystem.

On September 27, the first pitch day will be held at the Youth Press Club, after which an internal committee will select the top 10 startups to participate in the final. The final pitch day will take place on October 4 at the CAEx venue, where an international expert commission will choose three winning startups. The winners will receive financial awards from IT Park Uzbekistan and educational prizes from the Agency for Youth Affairs.

Participation criteria include several factors: the startup must belong to creative industries such as art, design, fashion, gaming and interactive media, content creation, urban development, and technology. An important aspect is the novelty of the idea, which should offer an innovative solution or fill a market gap. Additionally, the project must demonstrate potential for scaling both locally and internationally.
