xAI has released Grok 3 — a new flagship AI model

xAI has unveiled an updated artificial intelligence model, Grok-3, which outperforms competitors across several metrics. In tests covering mathematics, science, and programming, Grok-3 surpassed Google Gemini, DeepSeek V3, Claude, and GPT-4o.

Grok-3 boasts computational power more than ten times greater than that of its predecessor and completed pre-training in early January. Alongside the new model, xAI introduced DeepSearch, an intelligent search system that analyzes queries, plans responses, and includes features for research, brainstorming, and data analysis. A voice chatbot is also planned for launch. Access to Grok-3 is available to Premium+ subscribers on the X platform. A new SuperGrok tier will soon be available via the mobile app and the Grok.com website. After full stabilization of Grok-3, the company intends to release the source code of previous model versions.
