Kcell received an award for the fastest internet

Kcell received the award for the fastest mobile internet in Kazakhstan for 2023, as announced at the Digital Almaty forum.

They achieved high internet speeds by implementing fifth-generation communication standards and upgrading the 4G network, with the installation of nearly 600 5G base stations.

Kazakhstan ranks 72nd in the world for mobile internet speed. Kcell was recognized as the fastest network based on Speedtest results.

Speedtest Ookla uses special servers to measure access speed, and Kazakhstan has about 20 such servers installed by the largest telecom operator. This is a significant achievement for Kcell, considering the rapid growth of mobile traffic in the country.
