Kazakhstani citizens will be able to register marriages faster

An application can be submitted via the eGov.kz portal and the eGov mobile app. Starting August 15, Kazakhstani citizens will be able to register their marriage 15 calendar days after submitting an application through the government’s electronic portal eGov.kz and the eGov mobile app. Previously, applications had to be submitted one month prior to the state registration of marriage. It is noted that these changes were introduced to optimize the timeline for marriage and remove barriers to family formation, at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
