"Kazakhtelecom" and Gcore intend to jointly develop cloud technologies in Kazakhstan

The country's largest telecom operator, Kazakhtelecom, and Gcore, an international leader in cloud and edge services, intend to jointly develop streaming and multimedia technologies and services in Kazakhstan. The memorandum was signed by the heads of the companies in Astana with the support of the national company KAZAKH INVEST.

Gcore is considered an international leader in the field of cloud and edge services, content delivery, hosting, and security solutions. Founded in 2014, the Luxembourg-based company offers a wide range of services, including accelerating artificial intelligence training, comprehensive cloud services, server and application protection, with offices in Vilnius, Belgrade, Manila, Seoul, Tokyo, and several other capitals.

Under the signed memorandum, the companies plan to jointly create services in the field of cloud computing and multimedia technologies, develop streaming services, conduct joint pilot projects in the area of media content delivery and cloud technologies, and more.

The entry of an international company like Gcore into the Kazakhstan market will attract additional investments in the development of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, as well as bring the development of information and communication and multimedia services in Kazakhstan to a new level.
