For our team, results are important. We see that 92% of the community members show growth or are acquired. On average, more than $11 million USD was raised per accepted company. StartX is a strong community. We will have access to talent, funding, and one of the most powerful innovation networks in the world: the Stanford University alumni network.
Only Stanford University graduates can join StartX Stanford. After a rigorous selection process, StartX Stanford entered into a partnership agreement with Astana Business Campus and Jas Ventures Almaty to accelerate startups from Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
Bakyt Ospanova, Head of Educational Programs at Jas Ventures Almaty
After visiting StartX in November 2022 and witnessing the power of the community, I wanted to see Kazakhstani founders among them. In early February 2023, six teams from Kazakhstan participated in the selection process for the StartX accelerator, and the entire Jas Ventures Almaty team rejoiced when we learned that the MedTech startup Cerebra, having passed several difficult stages, was accepted into the program. We were very concerned for the team and made every effort to prepare the Cerebra team for all stages of the selection process.
StartX is a gathering of more than 1,800 serial entrepreneurs, industry experts, Stanford faculty members, and more than 700 well-funded growth-stage startups. Thanks to strong community support, they have managed to grow three decacorns and 16 unicorns.
