Kazakh startup ARLAN BIOTECH has raised $390,000 and is expanding into the international market

ARLAN BIOTECH startup announced raising $390,000 in a pre-seed round, with the total round size reaching $1 million. The company's current valuation has reached $12.5 million.

The investments came from venture funds and business angels from Kazakhstan, the USA, and the UAE. The completion of the round is expected by the end of April 2025.

The funds raised will be directed toward further validation of the generative model in collaboration with the American CRO company Contract Research Organization and expanding commercial activities through contracts with post-payment terms.

ARLAN BIOTECH is a company developing generative AI models for the discovery and optimization of antibodies. This allows pharmaceutical companies to accelerate the development process, reduce costs, and find antibodies even for proteins against which drug creation was previously considered impossible.

ARLAN BIOTECH has joined the largest international MedTech accelerator MedTech Innovator and is already preparing for a global pitch tour in the USA and Europe.
