Kazakh marketplace Garderob closed a $2.5 million Seed round

The Kazakh startup The Fashion People, developer of the branded goods marketplace Garderob, has raised $2.5 million in a Seed round. Among the deal participants are Bask International Group, venture fund White Hill Capital, accelerator Startup Wise Guys, and a syndicate of private angels.

The Garderob app allows users to sell and buy branded items "like new" in Kazakhstan, while in Europe, the team is focusing on B2B solutions for fashion brands. Bask International Group noted that this is not just an investment, but a contribution to the development of the Kazakh startup ecosystem and support for a strong team.
