Kazakhstani students have gained the opportunity to work at Amazon.

Kazakhstani students were the first in the world to gain the opportunity to work on a major international project by Amazon. The Amazon OpenSearch project will be implemented under the memorandum signed between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Amazon.

At the end of last year, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Amazon signed a Memorandum on prospective cooperation in the field of higher education and expanding students' opportunities to acquire skills necessary for implementing innovations in the learning process and launching their careers.

More than 100 of the best students from technical universities in the country will receive a unique opportunity to directly participate in one of Amazon's flagship projects.

Over the course of three months, Kazakhstani students majoring in information technology, under the direct supervision of Amazon specialists, will conduct practical work on OpenSearch.

This program will allow students not only to gain extensive experience and practical skills with the support of leading Amazon specialists but also to add a notable achievement to their portfolio for working on an international project.

Upon completion of the project, Kazakhstani students will receive a comprehensive report in the form of an analysis of their work in their respective areas within the OpenSearch project, along with recommendations and feedback from mentors at the leading global corporation.
