More than 71,000 participants from 157 countries gathered at the largest technology conference, Web Summit 2025, in Lisbon. Among the presented projects, attention was drawn to Kazakhstani startups in the field of artificial intelligence.
Kazakhstan was represented at the summit by three teams:
— RedFlags.ai — an AI agent for public procurement and tenders. The system standardizes unstructured product data and helps suppliers make decisions.
— Gro.now — a marketing platform that collects feedback and provides businesses with structured insights using surveys, reputation analytics, and referral programs.
— IceCore.ai — a customer support analysis tool: it processes dialogues from WhatsApp, Telegram, and other channels, identifies issues, and helps reduce customer churn.
Key AI trends discussed at the conference included the shift to on-device solutions, the use of small language models, and issues of ethics, security, and sustainable development. Particular attention was also paid to “value-based marketing”: brands must be authentic and socially responsible, and data personalization requires a careful approach.
The participation of Kazakhstani startups demonstrates the growth of the country’s technological ecosystem and its readiness to present its solutions on the international stage.
