The deal is valued at approximately $300 million. It is planned that the aircraft will form the basis of the country's first urban air mobility service — Urban Air Mobility.
According to the parties' statement, the launch of the air taxi will be an important step in the development of Alatau as a "city of the future" with high-tech infrastructure. The initiative aims to introduce innovative transportation solutions and promote Kazakhstan as a center of advanced technologies in Central Asia.
The project involves the use of electric aircraft capable of vertical takeoff and landing, providing fast and eco-friendly transportation within the city and between districts.
