“National Information Technologies” JSC is strengthening and expanding cooperation in the development of Tajikistan’s digital infrastructure in collaboration with the Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The cooperation between the parties became possible thanks to agreements previously reached during the official visit of the Head of State of the Republic of Tajikistan to Kazakhstan in August 2023. Following this, Kazakhstan began transferring e-government IT solutions to Tajikistan.
Under the new agreements, the parties held a series of bilateral meetings and organized special training sessions for employees of the Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. Specialists from “NIT” JSC trained their Tajik counterparts in using the Unified Platform for Internet Resources of Government Bodies. The platform operates on a single-window principle and serves as a website builder, enabling government employees without development skills to independently create and update websites. It is worth noting that more than 3,000 websites of various government bodies in Kazakhstan are currently operating on the basis of the Unified Platform for Internet Resources (UPIR).
The opportunity to conduct offline training allowed specialists from both countries to work together on the platform and discuss all issues that arose during the process. As a result of the training, Agency employees successfully began creating five websites for government bodies. The acquired knowledge will facilitate further adaptation and comprehensive integration of the proposed IT solutions.
Such bilateral cooperation enables the exchange of experience, assists in the technical “deployment” of domestic IT products, and promotes components of Kazakhstan’s digital ecosystem in external markets as a whole.
