Which IT projects became award winners at the STEPPE Awards 2023

The closed STEPPE Awards ceremony, which honored the achievements of emerging creators from Kazakhstan, took place on November 2. The event brought together over 600 guests from various sectors of the creative industry.

The award highlighted 11 main categories: theater, art, creative IT, urbanism, architecture, social projects, music, science, business and entrepreneurship, influencers, and cinema. Additionally, special categories were introduced: "People's Choice Award" and STEPPE Women, which recognized female entrepreneurs in the development of social impact businesses.

The winner of the "Business Breakthrough of the Year" nomination was UvU, a taxi service for the safe transportation of children and women. The team won a trip to Copenhagen for the international final of the Creative Business Cup organized by MOST.

In the special STEPPE Women category, the winning team was Ozim Platform, a mobile application for parents of children with developmental disabilities.

In the "Creative IT" category, the winner was EasyTap, a service for selecting line staff. The project team received 3,000,000 tenge from Astana Hub.
