Results of the video conference on digitalization in Uzbekistan

On February 22, under the chairmanship of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a video conference was held on accelerating digitalization processes in various sectors and regions.

Projects tested in Tashkent, such as the Digital Geoportal, the digital portal for the housing and utilities sector, and the "People's Control" system, will be implemented in the regions.

In the future, exports of IT services should reach $1 billion. To achieve this, at least 100,000 qualified programmers, IT architects, operators, and engineers are required.

It is necessary to expand the high-speed internet network in the regions and create a more favorable environment for the presence of foreign IT companies.
