Last week, the finals of the Teens Pitch Competition took place — a contest for Kazakhstani school students aimed at supporting and developing young leaders and their projects by Qazaq IT Community. In total, the organizers received 130 applications, and the top 20 teams competed in the finals.
The first place was taken by the Qyzbolsyn team, which is developing an innovative mobile application for girls with a focus on safety. It features an AI-powered bot and an anonymous, secure forum. The creators of the project describe the app as a "pocket older sister."
The second place went to the Ergonomics For People project, which is developing a device for automatically implementing ergonomics during computer work.
The third place was awarded to the AgriBotics project — a smart system for autonomous management of the agricultural sector. The system combines three products: a portable modular weather station, an AI-based monitoring platform, and a drone with computer vision. The founders plan to use it to increase crop yields on Kazakhstani fields.
The best projects received prizes totaling approximately 900,000 tenge, studio recordings, and other valuable gifts.
