About Us
Sergey. I am a programmer at the Uzum holding company with 11 years of experience in IT. Anastasia and I met at Beeline Uzbekistan. I was involved in software development, while my wife worked in the data analysis and processing department. Although we did not cross paths at work, we often saw each other.
Anastasia. I am a business analysis expert at Beeline Uzbekistan with over nine years of experience in IT. It all started at a corporate event where our perspectives aligned. Evening walks, engaging conversations, and funny gifts became part of our lives. And the most wonderful thing is that now, over a cup of tea, I can discuss projects, new articles, startups, and IT products with someone who sees them from a different angle and helps expand my knowledge.
How We Entered the IT Field
Sergey. Even during my studies at the Tashkent branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin, I worked nights in the technical support department of a local provider and studied programming. After graduating, I joined a startup, and then Beeline Uzbekistan. Currently, I work remotely from home for the Uzum holding company, but I have the option to visit the office.

Anastasia. My path into IT was long and varied. Initially, I worked as a legal assistant, accountant, and call center operator, but gradually I immersed myself more and more into the IT field, which always seemed to me the most promising and interesting. In 2012, I entered the Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics and found an excellent mentor who became an important person in my life—she supported me throughout my studies. In my third year of university, my future boss, idol, and mentor believed in me and offered me a job at Beeline Uzbekistan. I am grateful to her for that. Currently, I continue to work here in a traditional format.
Distribution of Responsibilities
Sergey and Anastasia. We try to divide responsibilities equally. It doesn't always work out, but for example, in the evening, one of us puts the child to bed while the other washes the dishes. We try not to be fanatical about duties to avoid household conflicts. We spend our free time together as a family with our daughter: we go for walks or to cafes, and in the evenings, we take walks in the park near our home: usually, one of us does this while the other handles household chores or simply rests in silence.
Family Traditions
Sergey and Anastasia. Once a week, we definitely go out as a family. Over dinner at a cafe or restaurant, we discuss news, share impressions, and our little Julianne learns how to behave in society. Every evening before bed, we read her books—about kindness and eternity, about trust and respect.

Combining Household and Work
Sergey. Working in IT has its own specifics; for example, sometimes I have to work from home in the evening, and even on weekends, especially during reporting periods. And the child is still small and requires attention. On the plus side, the salary level allows us to worry less about saving on basic needs, which simplifies household management.
Anastasia. Working in IT is an advantage for mothers, especially with remote or hybrid work formats. While a large SQL query is running, you can cook lunch or clean the apartment. However, when the child appeared, all activity was reduced to primitive cares, and it took me a lot of time to get back on track, start growing, and develop.
Recommendations for a Happy Family Life
Sergey. You need to respect your partner and treat each other as you would like to be treated. Every family is unique; we have only been married for five years, and in my opinion, that is not yet enough to confidently give advice.
Anastasia. We became a family relatively recently. But I can say that respect, care, and the ability to listen are important. Also, with the arrival of our little one, we forgot about ourselves. Thanks to our parents for giving us the opportunity to be alone, communicate, and recharge.

How IT Families Differ from Others
Sergey. The peculiarity of families where both partners are IT specialists is their attitude toward life. The IT sector is large, with many job openings, which gives more confidence. The salary is at a decent level, which allows solving household problems simply and quickly. Another important point: we understand each other, we have things to talk about, and this brings us closer.
Anastasia. Our children have known what a database, Python, and what it means for mom to constantly have something "running"—SQL queries—from an early age. IT families constantly improve their qualifications because as knowledge grows, so does salary. The field is constantly changing, and we need to change along with it. I see only advantages in this. The child sees that one needs to develop, not stand still. It is especially important that we can give each other advice on difficult professional issues, support, or refute proposed ideas.
