IT Park Ventures expands cooperation with international companies

IT Park Ventures is actively developing international cooperation, opening new opportunities for startups in Uzbekistan. As part of a business visit by a delegation from the country to Saudi Arabia, Azamat Karamatov, Director of IT Park Ventures, held key negotiations with ESG EQ Partners LLC and participated in an event hosted by Google and StrategEast at Google’s office in Riyadh. These meetings marked an important step toward strengthening Uzbekistan’s position on the global technology stage.

The outcome of the negotiations was the signing of a memorandum with ESG EQ Partners LLC, a company based in the UAE that assists businesses, government institutions, and investors in implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. Under the agreement, Uzbek startups will gain access to mentorship, a global network, and investment opportunities in Middle Eastern markets. Additionally, ESG EQ Partners will advise IT Park Ventures on establishing an investment fund, creating new opportunities for attracting foreign capital.

Furthermore, the cooperation includes support for startups from MENA countries entering the Uzbek market and opening development offices there. This will create additional jobs and accelerate technological development in the country.

A landmark event of the visit was also the opening of an IT Park representative office in Saudi Arabia. The new office, located in the innovative space The Garage, will serve as a platform for exchanging experience and strengthening partnership ties between the two countries. These initiatives enhance Uzbekistan’s integration into the global technology ecosystem, providing startups with access to international markets, resources, and funding.
