IT Park Ventures has entered into a partnership with the startup accelerator StartX (Stanford) and the One Way Ventures fund during a visit to Silicon Valley. Together, they plan to launch bootcamps for startups, educational programs, and participate in TechCrunch Disrupt 2025. CEO Azamat Kramatov presented the Uzbekistan Connect platform with funding of up to $10,000 for diaspora initiatives.
The National Venture Fund IT Park Ventures continues its international expansion — this time through a series of strategic meetings in Silicon Valley. The visit was organized with the support of Silkroad Innovation Hub and its co-founders Asror Arabjanov and Aset Abdualiev. The main goal is to strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the global startup and investment ecosystem.
A key outcome was the partnership with StartX, the renowned Stanford University accelerator. Together with IT Park Ventures, it will launch an intensive bootcamp in Tashkent for early-stage startups from Central Asia. Participants will receive support in product-market fit adaptation, investment strategy preparation, and access to international funding rounds. The partnership also includes a joint investment pipeline, educational initiatives for investors in Uzbekistan, and joint participation in TechCrunch Disrupt 2025, where a dedicated session “Uzbekistan x Stanford” will be organized.
Additionally, cooperation has been established with One Way Ventures, a fund investing in startups founded by migrants in the US. Discussions covered mutual opportunity exchange programs, organizing internships for founders in San Francisco, and One Way’s participation in ICT Week Uzbekistan as mentors and speakers. This partnership redefines the role of the Uzbek diaspora — not as a brain drain, but as a strategic resource for innovation and investment.
A separate session was held with Jeff Kabili, former director of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an expert in startup presentations. The result includes new mentoring and educational programs for Uzbek founders: in-person bootcamps in Tashkent, quarterly online sessions, and workshops on strategic communications for the IT Park Ventures team.
The visit concluded with the Central Eurasian Founders Meetup in Palo Alto, bringing together over 100 entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem representatives. Azamat Kramatov, CEO of IT Park Ventures, presented the Uzbekistan Connect platform — a global initiative to engage the diaspora. Among the tools are funding up to $10,000 for initiatives proposed by diaspora members, sponsored trips to their homeland, monthly strategic sessions with global leaders, and direct access to investors and government agencies.
Uzbekistan is already preparing for large-scale participation in TechCrunch Disrupt 2025, which will take place October 28–30 in San Francisco. The official delegation is being formed by IT Park Ventures, IT Park Uzbekistan, and Silkroad Innovation Hub. Startups, investors, diaspora leaders, and partners are invited to participate. The program includes an immersive track for founders, a Stanford x Tashkent showcase, closed meetings with investors, and full accreditation for selected participants.
