IT Park Uzbekistan opens a representative office in Germany

A meeting took place in Berlin between the leadership of IT Park Uzbekistan and representatives of the Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft (Eastern Committee of German Industry and Commerce). The parties discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation, including the organization of joint events in Germany, attracting relevant associations, and establishing strategic partnerships. Special attention was given to the development of the digital economy and improving the investment climate.

In recent years, there has been active growth in the number of German resident companies in IT Park Uzbekistan and their export activities:

— by the end of 2024, 10 companies with German capital were working in IT Park Uzbekistan, of which 7 are export-oriented
— Uzbek IT companies have also increased their exports to Germany: 27 companies supply digital solutions to the German market, which is 69% more than last year
— the total volume of exports to Germany in 2024 amounted to $3.85 million, demonstrating an 18% increase.

One of the key decisions of the meeting was the establishment of an IT Park Uzbekistan representation office in the premises of the Eastern Committee in Berlin. The new office will be located in the administrative district next to the House of German Economy and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, creating additional opportunities for interaction with German business circles.

The agreements open up new prospects for Uzbek IT companies, strengthen their positions on the international stage, and contribute to the development of German-Uzbek cooperation in the field of technology.
