IT Park Uzbekistan met with a delegation from Oman, including leaders of leading IT and energy sector companies: AB Energy, Rihal Data Migration & Services, AAA EuroAngar, and Godoba.com. During the negotiations, prospects for cooperation in the fields of digital technologies and "green" energy were discussed.
The company Rihal Data Migration & Services announced plans to open an office in Uzbekistan: initially with 10 employees, and then expanding to 75 people. Investments in the construction of data centers with a capacity of 8-10 MW for Central Asia were also discussed.
In addition, there was a proposal to open a representative office of IT Park Uzbekistan in Oman and to provide soft-landing programs for Uzbek startups planning to enter the Omani market. Representatives from Oman confirmed their participation in the ICT Week event in Uzbekistan and expressed readiness to continue negotiations at the Comex exhibition.
The agreements reached are aimed at expanding opportunities for Uzbek IT companies: creating new jobs, attracting investments, implementing joint projects, and strengthening Uzbekistan's position as a preferred venue for international tech outsourcing and a regional center for digital innovations.
