IT Park Uzbekistan and Cognitus discussed the creation of a training and ERP development center in Uzbekistan

As part of the Uzbek delegation's visit to the United States, IT Park General Director Abdulkhad Kuchkarov met with Cognitus Managing Director Jeff Olsen in Illinois.

Cognitus is a global SAP Gold partner and a digital transformation company that develops and implements innovative ERP solutions. The company is headquartered in the United States and operates in North America, Europe, and Asia. Cognitus serves corporate clients in manufacturing, logistics, and services, with a particular focus on intelligent automation and artificial intelligence integration.

During the meeting, the parties discussed Cognitus's plans to expand into the Central Asian market and the human resources potential of Uzbekistan. IT Park Uzbekistan presented the benefits for residents: zero tax rates, free office space, support in obtaining IT visas, and a pool of talented specialists fluent in multiple languages.

IT Park Uzbekistan offered comprehensive support for company registration and branch establishment, including exemption from corporate income tax, VAT on exported services, and personal income tax for foreign employees. Additionally, free modern office space and coworking facilities were offered in key cities such as Bukhara and Samarkand, access to a large pool of technical specialists trained in SAP, AI, and automation, as well as support in promotion and potential co-branding with state digital initiatives.

The main objective of the meeting was to explore partnership opportunities in training SAP specialists and establishing an ERP development center, as well as laying the groundwork for Cognitus to become a resident of IT Park Uzbekistan and utilize all available benefits.
