IT Park strengthens cooperation with DIFC

On February 14, 2024, a delegation from the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the General Director of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Director of the DIFC Innovation Centre.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss strategic measures for establishing the International Digital Technology Center of Enterprise Uzbekistan. This center represents a special zone with favorable conditions for creating digital technology products within the IT Park.

The Enterprise Uzbekistan Center will offer a unique environment for technology companies, including a regulatory sandbox for innovative projects, protection of intellectual property and personal data, as well as comprehensive government and banking services.

The outcome of the meeting was an agreement to further expand cooperation between IT Park and DIFC. An exchange of experience is planned, along with invitations for DIFC member companies to open representative offices in Uzbekistan to conduct global business through the republic.
