The advertising agency REDKEDS CA, together with AI, created a one-minute video for the 20th anniversary of the automaker Allur — the first such product in Central Asia. The animation was generated by the Warpfusion neural network (Deliberate v2 model), and post-production and collages were handled by designer Riz Esentaev with support from the anykey studio. The project demonstrates the effectiveness of AI in marketing, reducing costs and time for content creation.
A one-minute video — the result of collaborative creativity between artificial intelligence and the creative team of REDKEDS CA advertising agency — is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the automaker Allur. The clip is the first of its kind in Central Asia. No one had previously dared to entrust neural networks with video content, especially one carrying significant semantic weight.
“Currently, the advertising creation process involves many creative and emotional aspects that require spatial arrangement of their elements. I can assist with data analysis and trend forecasting, but I cannot replace the human creative process,” ChatGPT modestly states in response to our query about “advertising created by artificial intelligence.”
In reality, AI technologies are already successfully applied for marketing purposes in advanced foreign countries. There are frequent claims that AI could displace an entire industry, leaving marketers jobless. However, this is still far from reality. As the AI itself admitted, it is incapable of replacing humans.
Nevertheless, neural networks represent a powerful tool that can be used to create advertising videos. Unlike the traditional filming process, they offer several advantages:
— efficiency — neural networks can quickly and automatically process large volumes of data and generate content
— flexibility and scalability — they are trained on various styles, preferences, and target audiences and can meet specific advertiser requirements.
Furthermore, using neural networks reduces costs. AI can provide more precise control over the video creation process, allowing for real-time adjustments and changes, as well as providing the opportunity to preview results to make more informed decisions.
Employing artificial intelligence to create advertising videos can give them new, original, and innovative artistic features. This is confirmed by Allur’s new video. Undoubtedly, such a creative and super-modern initiative will help attract audience attention and distinguish the company in the market.
However, Kazakhstani consumers have been using Allur’s products and services for many years: the company not only manufactures and sells cars but also creates more services to facilitate mobility. A five-year strategy has been adopted to transform into an urban mobility provider by creating a unified ecosystem. In the future, citizens will be able to access all types of transport services through a “one-stop shop” model.
Regarding the technical aspects of working on the video, as reported by the REDKEDS CA advertising agency, the animation was created using the Warpfusion neural network, which is a variation of DiscoDiffusion. The Deliberate v2 model was used for generation.
Given that neural networks are not yet a stable tool for achieving flawless results, IT specialists and advertisers had to perform extensive correction work. In some scenes, it was necessary to work frame by frame, generating animations multiple times, and assembling collages from successful frames using Photoshop. However, overall, the video creation took much less time and effort.
Additional details: the video was shot and produced by the Almaty-based production studio anykey, which has extensive experience collaborating with automotive brands in the Kazakhstani market. Work with neural networks was entrusted to one of the leading graphic designers, Rizu Esentaev, widely known for the animated music video “Autumn” by Jah Khalib and for the Kazakh versions of “Star Wars” and “The Lord of the Rings.”
