ChatGPT AI bot can now receive voice messages and photos via WhatsApp

Developers of generative neural networks that can create content based on text or other prompts continue to expand the accessibility of their algorithms through integration with other popular services. In December, OpenAI allowed users to connect with the ChatGPT chatbot via WhatsApp, and now it has expanded the functionality of this service.

To interact with the chatbot in the messenger, you need to add the number 1-800-CHAT-GPT or 1-800-242-84-78 to your contacts. Previously, users could only interact with the AI bot via text messages, but now the algorithm has learned to process images and voice messages, which can be sent to the Talk to ChatGPT chat. After processing the user's message, the algorithm will provide a text response to the question asked by voice.

In addition to this, users can link their active ChatGPT Plus or Pro subscription plan to their messenger account to more actively use the AI bot directly within the Meta service.

In December, OpenAI launched the ability to contact ChatGPT by phone, even a landline—just dial the number. The service is available for residents of the United States. Users can chat with the AI for free for up to 15 minutes.
