Expenses have been optimized: the World Nomad Games will not be held, and the "Games of the Future" have been postponed from 2025 to 2026. Earlier, the head of state announced that Kazakhstan would host the tournament after 48 Kazakhstani participants took part in 13 disciplines at the event in Kazan.
In connection with the flooding, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev ordered to cancel image-building and other large-scale events in order to save financial resources for eliminating the consequences of destruction and providing assistance to affected citizens.
Expenses for hosting the World Nomad Games will thus be optimized, and a decision has been made to postpone the preparatory work for organizing and holding the International Multisport Tournament "Games of the Future" in the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2025 to 2026.
Recall that in February this year, the Head of State of Kazakhstan, during a visit to the "Games of the Future" in Kazan, Tatarstan, announced that the next multisport tournament would take place in Kazakhstan. The Games featured 21 innovative phygital disciplines, combining digital and traditional sports, with 48 participants from Kazakhstan competing in 13 disciplines.
