Google officially announced the launch of Gemini 3 Flash — a new version of its artificial intelligence model, which is now becoming the primary model in AI Mode in Google Search worldwide. This update aims to improve the speed, efficiency, and quality of the AI system's responses.
Gemini 3 Flash is built on the flagship Gemini 3 model and combines powerful reasoning capabilities, multimodal data processing (including text, images, and other formats), and high-speed query processing. According to Google, the new model handles complex questions better while remaining faster and more accessible than previous versions.
With the launch of Gemini 3 Flash, it becomes the default model for AI Mode in Google Search globally — meaning users can receive faster, more accurate, and more detailed answers to complex queries without waiting for system processing.
At the same time, Google is expanding access to more advanced models, such as Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro, which offer enhanced tools for content creation, idea visualization, and deeper information generation. These models are available to users, particularly in the United States, through the selection of corresponding modes in the AI Mode interface.
The new model makes Google's AI capabilities even more accessible and powerful: it responds to queries faster, understands context more accurately, and allows users to interact with AI much more efficiently than before.
