Freedom Bank is preparing to launch a digital bank in Georgia.

The Board of Directors of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of Kazakhstan has granted Freedom Bank Kazakhstan permission to establish a subsidiary in Georgia. The next step will be the registration of a special company named FBG Company JCS, which will be authorized to obtain a digital bank license from the National Bank of Georgia.

After receiving the banking license, the new entity will continue operations under the name Freedom Bank Georgia. The bank plans to develop customer-oriented digital services, enhance the accessibility of financial services, and introduce modern digital banking solutions in the new market.

Previously, on September 19, 2025, the bank's sole shareholder, Freedom Finance, decided to create a subsidiary bank in Georgia. In the first stage, FBG Company JCS will handle the license application process and submit the required documents to the National Bank of Georgia. Upon approval of the license, the company will be transformed into a commercial digital bank under the official name Freedom Bank Georgia JSC.
