Experts from around the world discussed biocigital convergence at CONNECTED-2024

An international conference CONNECTED is taking place in the capital of Kazakhstan – an event in the format of a discussion platform for discussing global narratives and conceptualizing the image of the future.

In the modern world, there is a rapid merging of biological systems and digital technologies, known as bio-digital convergence. This phenomenon represents not just a technological trend, but a profound transformation of our understanding of ourselves and the surrounding reality, opening new horizons for improving health, expanding cognitive abilities, and overcoming physical limitations. What are the main challenges and opportunities arising from this convergence, and how can it change humanity's perception of itself and its place in the world? Experts of world-class level sought answers to this question during the panel session "Tech x Human Synergy: Bio-Digital Convergence."

The conference involves approximately 1500 delegates from more than 20 countries around the world. The platform unites global change agents and aims to form a unified, synchronized picture of the future.

The event includes 18 panel sessions with the participation of over 70 international speakers from the USA, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Poland, Finland, Croatia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, China, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Israel, Turkey, the UAE, South Africa, Nepal, and Uzbekistan.

The uniqueness of the CONNECTED conference lies in its worldview approach to discussing global issues. The organizers propose looking into the future through the prism of the worldviews of cultures and philosophies, technologies and innovations, and interaction with nature.

The event takes place in the Open Mind format. This model of consciousness implies unbiased evaluation, an open format of communication, and flexibility of views – the willingness of all participants to accept various points of view.

The general sponsor of CONNECTED was the AITAS holding – the leading agro-industrial holding of the country.
