The Uzum ecosystem has registered its first bond issuance totaling 300 billion sum

The national digital ecosystem Uzum has registered a bond issuance prospectus for a record-breaking amount of 300 billion Uzbek som in Uzbekistan. The coupon rate for the issuance is 25%, with a bond term of two years.

The bonds will be placed and traded on the Republican Stock Exchange "TASHKENT". The issuer is MAKESENSE LLC, a company within the Uzum group. Investor funds will be directed toward the development and growth of Uzum's FinTech segment.

Uzum's participation in the development of the country's debt capital market is a logical step — both from the perspective of our business growth needs and the company's social responsibility. We believe that the current stage of economic development in Uzbekistan requires a broader range of financial instruments.
