Debut of Kazakhstani participants at the CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship

The Kazakh school team "1737 Y" won one of the most prestigious awards, the Judges Awards, at The CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship. A total of 500 teams from more than 40 U.S. states and 10 countries participated in the competition. The Kazakhstani teams made it into the top ten finalists.

Recall that from March 11 to 18, the CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship took place in Omaha, USA. The team, led by Mr. Thomas and representing the International Academy of Robotics, included schoolchildren from Almaty:

Shalkaruly Erasyl

Aidabulov Erasyl

Tleugazy Zhanibek

Mukametkali Imanali

The honor of Astana at the international championship was represented by the BINOM school, which also won the Judges Awards nomination.

A week later, the youngest team of the International Academy of Robotics, "1729 Y," arrived at the championship arena. Despite their young age among the 68 participating teams, they managed to break into the top ten and took eighth place.

It is noted that the judges highly appreciated the level of preparation of all Kazakhstani teams.
