The largest tech parks in Central Asia — Astana Hub and IT Park Uzbekistan — have announced plans to expand their international presence as part of the strategic alliance Central Asian Innovation Hubs.
In 2024, Central Asian Innovation Hubs, launched on the initiative of Astana Hub and IT Park Uzbekistan, presented more than 40 regional startups at international forums — INMerge Innovation Summit, Web Summit 2024, and TechCrunch Disrupt 2024. This enhanced the region's visibility on the global stage and opened new opportunities for Central Asian startups.
Another important step in developing cooperation was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Astana Hub and IT Park Uzbekistan with Growth Vision Pro Ltd at the AlmatyFair.ai exhibition in Almaty, aimed at promoting Central Asian startups in the Chinese market through the opening of an international hub in Shanghai. The agreement outlines common principles of interaction, including the development of the startup ecosystem, attracting investments, and supporting international expansion. The parties also agreed to develop joint acceleration programs and provide support to residents of both countries in entering the Chinese market.
