The Central Asia Capital investment fund, which previously invested $30 million in the construction of the Muras plant, announced the launch of a national program to support entrepreneurship — Central Asia Startup. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The cooperation agreement was signed by Minister Baktyyar Orozov and fund founder Anton Sobin.
Under the program, businesses will receive subsidies, six months of training in an accelerator, and the opportunity to set up production at the Central Asia Hub facility. The competition will begin in the first quarter of 2026, and entrepreneurs and students will be able to participate. The format involves developing projects based on technical specifications provided by existing enterprises.
The program aims to integrate innovations into industry, create jobs, and reduce the country's dependence on external supplies. The first localized production facilities are planned to launch by the end of 2026.
