BNB Chain, in collaboration with Astana IT University, will host the first hackathon in Kazakhstan.

The event aims to attract 200 student developers to provide them with the opportunity to engage with the BNB Chain developer community and test their Web3 skills in practice.

Registration for Astana IT University students is now open.

The hackathon will also feature a memorandum of partnership signing ceremony between BNB Chain and AITU, marking the beginning of long-term cooperation between the two parties. The event will take place on December 24 and 25 at Astana IT University and is expected to bring together more than 200 participants.

At the closing ceremony on December 25, three winners will be announced. After presenting their final solutions to the jury, they will receive prizes of $2,112 for first place, $1,584 for second place, and $1,056 for third place, as well as gifts from BNB Chain and permanent access to BNB Chain developer programs.

The innovative BNB Chain hackathon in Astana is an ideal platform for students to not only learn from industry experts but also showcase their talents and, over time, contribute to the development of BNB Chain. By signing the memorandum on joint Web3 development, we aim to create a strong and active developer community in Kazakhstan in collaboration with Astana IT University.

During the hackathon, leading developers will conduct workshops and seminars to explain the basics of building in Web3 and the BNB network, as well as the hackathon tracks, tasks, and winner selection criteria. Following this, student teams will compete for prize positions. The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony.

The hackathon includes 8 exciting tracks: decentralized storage, Web3 reputation, the path to a decentralized society, real-time data indexing, secure wallets, streaming in Web3, Soulbound tokens, and zero-knowledge proofs.

Participants on the presented tracks will have the opportunity to solve a variety of tasks. Some tasks will involve creating a decentralized storage solution using IPFS and BNB tokens, building a reputation structure for ranking users across Web3 protocols, and developing a real-time data indexing solution using deep learning.
