Authors of Telegram channels can now receive 50% of the revenue from ads.

Telegram channels collectively receive over 1 trillion views per month. Now, owners of public channels with 1,000 or more subscribers can earn 50% of the advertising revenue generated in their channel as a reward.

Rewards from the monetization program can be withdrawn without commission—or used to pay for ad placements in Telegram, collectible usernames, or Premium subscription giveaways.

A new type of ad format is now supported for the reward program, which can be paid for using Toncoin—the cryptocurrency built on the TON blockchain.

Now, any user can promote their bot or Telegram channel using Toncoin, even with minimal budgets. When creating an ad message, you select specific channels for placement—giving you full control over the context in which your ads will appear.
