Aristanbek Joldasbekov has taken the helm of Yandex Cloud in Kazakhstan.

Arystanbek Joldasbekov has been appointed as the Director of Yandex Cloud’s public cloud platform in Kazakhstan. In his role as Director of Yandex Cloud in Kazakhstan, Arystanbek will focus on developing the public cloud platform in the Republic and across Central Asia.

Arystanbek Joldasbekov is a business development professional with 27 years of experience. He has held leadership positions at the Kazakh offices of Mont, Microsoft, Oracle, and ASBIS, where he was responsible for business development. For the past two years, he served as General Director of Utrace Kazakhstan and Central Asia. He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with degrees in “International Relations” and “World Economy,” and also earned a degree in “International Relations” from California State University.

Yandex Cloud places special emphasis on the development of cloud technologies and the IT market in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The Kazakh office already employs a team of technical specialists and experts, Yandex Cloud services are priced in tenge, and technologies tailored for the Kazakh market are being introduced on the platform. Among them is Yandex SpeechKit in the Kazakh language, developed for creating voice assistants and robots for call centers.
