The Aqtobe startup incubator Aqtobe Hub has completed its three-month program, presenting projects Sen (a cashier-less micro-market), TextToVideos, and “AI Sugar” at the Demo Day. Aida Tangulova, founder of “AI Sugar,” received support from the Sun Sustainable Development Fund and the Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University. Successful participants of the program, including the “Simple Histology,” Smart Assistant, and other teams, received certificates for creating innovative solutions.
Residents of Aktobe presented their developments — a cashier-less micromarket, a platform for generating videos from text, an AI assistant for diabetics, and other innovations — the result of three months of work at the Aqtobe Hub startup incubator. Young teams have gone from idea to first clients, creating technological solutions capable of transforming the regional economy.
At the Demo Day — the key event of the startup incubator — participants presented their innovative projects, developed under the guidance of experts and with the support of leading partners.
Among the standout projects, the incubator organizers highlight the Sen startup — a smart cashier-less micromarket using advanced purchase automation technologies, TextToVideos — a platform for creating short videos with one click, turning text into dynamic content using artificial intelligence, and "AI Sugar Cube" — an AI assistant for diabetics that personalizes nutrition and helps control blood sugar levels.
Aidana Tangulova, founder of the "AI Sugar Cube" project, had no experience in programming and AI development before joining the incubator. However, as a family doctor, she understood that diabetic patients needed accessible and understandable nutritional guidance.
Outstanding startups were recognized for their innovation and practical value, receiving special awards. Those who successfully completed the program and other participants also received certificates. Among them are "Histology Simple," Smart Assistant, Wowenbek, Algadem, Basymai, Compliance, "Relactation," Talasai, Umit, and Mille Pharm.
Aqtobe Hub helps students and young professionals turn innovative ideas into real startups, contributing to the development of the regional innovation ecosystem. The incubator was implemented with the support of the Sun Sustainable Development Fund and the Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University, which provided expert and methodological support.
